EXT. LONDON SKYLINE - NIGHT
The camera looks out over the London skyline. In the distance, a
train slowly rolls over the Thames,
passing Big Ben. A small group of
ravens flutters through the night
sky.
The camera descends down to street level. The city is beginning to
come to life.
Voices echo through the empty alleyways
as a car turns a corner. A
newspaper vendor calls out the evening
headlines. Pedestrians stroll through
the vibrant nightlife of the city

Sound design is the craft of bringing images to life – manipulating perception through sound, creating atmosphere, and adding depth to stories. It's not just background noise that complements the visuals – it pulls the audience right into the emotions of the story. With professional sound design, every scene becomes something truly special.
Podcasts thrive on clear messages and high-quality sound. In post-production, I edit the audio tracks and tailor them to the technical requirements of the market. Additionally, I offer the creation of custom intros or audio logos to make the podcast truly distinctive. For recordings in the Cologne area, professional equipment is available. However, I also provide technical consultation for home recordings to ensure the podcast delivers in every aspect.
Urban sounds are ever-present. Voices, footsteps, and the hum of traffic blend into a vibrant soundscape. Even more important: a clear recording of the dialogue, which drives almost every story forward.
Location sound lays the foundation for the world being told. I ensure that every voice and sound is captured cleanly and precisely – whether for film, interview, or documentary.
Field recording is the craft of capturing sounds directly in their natural environment, collecting authentic and unique soundscapes. Whether in the wilderness or in urban settings – every location has its own character, which I capture for my projects. It doesn't matter whether it's for film, video game, or documentary: a special acoustic depth always relies on authentic environmental sounds. With my mobile equipment, I record sounds that are hard to reproduce elsewhere and bring these sounds into every project.
My fascination with sound design began during my directing studies, when
I discovered the potential to capture the audience's attention through
sound. I have been pursuing this passion further in my master’s program
ever since.
I work with meticulous attention to detail, in a structured and
methodical manner, approaching my projects step by step. My extensive
experience in various disciplines allows me to work efficiently and with
clear focus. I place great value on creative collaboration with
directors, editors, and production teams to get the best out of every
project.
My workspace features a fully equipped and calibrated 5.1
post-production studio in the northern old town of Cologne, where I work
with Pro Tools and high-quality Genelec monitors. For field recordings
and on-set audio, I use professional equipment from Sennheiser and Sound
Devices to ensure the best possible foundation for post-production is
created right at the shoot.
